Right, what to say? I'm FireworksandChimpanzees (yep, from that moment Book 3!) I absolutely love The Sisters Grimm and it's getting me through life nicely since I'm categorically refusing to let go of this fandom.

Uhhhh.... I'm guessing I need to write something about "Why The Sisters Grimm?" (I get fierce about the 'The' - the series is called 'The Sisters Grimm, Sabrina and Daphne are the Sisters Grimm) because I'm the admin of The Sisters Grimm Wiki so, I'll just give you a whole paragraph which is quintessentially pointless:

So I went into my local library a good few years back. There, I found The Unusual Suspects. Not the rest of the series - not even Book 1 - just Book 2, would you believe, straight from the off. And so I got it out and - get ready for this - read it (which, on it's own, is an amazing thing as I usually tend to shy away from books aimed at a younger audience but the book cover intrigued me), and I enjoyed it but it was like any oth e r book. So I went back to said library two years later and was browsing the shelves when I came across (you guessed it. No, you probably didn't, but I bet you're hanging off the edge of your seat to know what I came across) The Unusual Suspects! Exactly the same copy (which isn't surprising considering it was the same library),  though I couldn't remember reading it before. Nonetheless, again the book cover intrigued me and there was something vaguely familiar about it. And so I read it (obviously). And I got obsessed. Really obsessed. And I needed to read the rest of the series. As I am situated in the UK and in a part of the UK that hardly anyone knows, I could not find a SINGLE DAMN LIBRARY WITH THE BOOK SERIES. After a few months I did, however, and from August the 16th 2012, I have officially had 8 Sisters Grimm books in my possession. I had to buy the 9th one as no-one has it, but it was money well spent. I continually renewed the books for over a year-and-a-half, and had a fit of intense panic when I thought I couldn't renew The Fairy-Tale Detectives. My younger brothers eventually just brought me the series as they felt sorry for the library and the people who couldn't see the books gracing the shelves and I'll let you make of that what you will.

Fanfiction is just the bane of my existence since I get so hooked into it, all my work goes forgotten. Currently, I'm working on fanfictions for my main fandoms -

Oh, what are your main fandoms I hear you ask? Well since you asked so nicely:

  • The Sisters Grimm (obviously)  - so much love for Puckabrina and I honestly think the series is so underrated. I also think it is important to give all the amazing side characters their due too (cough Willliam Charming cough)
  • Game of Thrones - dammit I love this series so much! The Starks are so awesome but Tyrion and Sansa are my favourites.
  • Lord of The Rings - don't get me started, I'm sure I don't understand as much of it as I'm supposed to, but ARAGORN AND ARWEN FOR LIFE. NO SERIOUSLY, I LOVE ARAGORN/ELESSAR/STRIDER/LONGSHANKS/ESTEL to pieces and Elrond, Galadriel and the rest of the Fellowship too :). Also, Samwise Gamgee is the real hero here by the way.
  • Creeping into the Once Upon a Time fandom because of Captain Swan
  • Sherlock and Doctor Who too, people

What else to add? Umm.... I'm Team Edward even though I'm (thankfully) over my Twilight phase, 'cause I hate the whole arc of Jacob even though he was a much better match for Bella (no Stephenie Meyer, it is not cute that you made Jacob end up with Renesmee after he was pining for Bella for so long).  I really love Remus Lupin who is by far, my favourite character from the Harry Potter series. That leads me to love Nymphadora Tonks and Teddy Lupin too. Oh and the Hunger Games. Got to love Katniss and Peeta. I completely refuse to believe the Finnick bombshell at the end of Mockingjay, and have lived the past few years of my life denying the very thing outright. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! And then there are The Mortal Instruments which is a brilliant series, but not as brilliant as it's prequel series, The Infernal Devices.

So yeah! That's me! That's the admin :D
