The town of Ferryport Landing is a town a couple hours' drive north of New York City. The Sisters Grimm books take place there with the exception of the fourth book. A cool place
Ferryport Landing is described as a small town on the edge of the Hudson River with only one traffic light on its streets. The town is shown to be more than meets the eye when it is revealed that a large number of fairy-tale-characters, otherwise known as Everafters , have lived there for approximately 200 years and have not moved as a result of the magical barrier that surrounds the town.
Sabrina and Daphne move to this town after having been forced through many foster homes after the disappearance of their parents. Sabrina was disappointed to be moving to such a small, quiet town after having lived in New York City her whole life, but she soon discovered that the town wasn't as quiet as she had thought it would be, yet she was still not pleased with the town since she is/was prejudiced against the Everafters who reside there.
When Prince Charming was the mayor of the town (later replaced by the Queen of Hearts), the Three Little Pigs were police officers, Snow White a teacher, and Briar Rose owned a coffee shop.
