Excalibur is the magical sword once owned by King Arthur. It's potency is widely renowned, and is also one of the most famous swords of all time. In the Sisters Grimm series, the sword was stored in the Hall of Wonders in the Magical Weaponry room, until in The Fairy-Tale Detectives, Charming requests to use it to fight withJack the Giant Killer and defeat the giant that had kidnapped Relda and Mr. Canis.
The sword kills an enemy as soon as he skin is pierced with it's blade - it kills with one cut, no matter how big or how small. After Charming is knocked unconscious by the giant, the sword lands at the feet of Sabrina who picks it up in the vain hope that she could use it to deflect the burning arrows Jack fires her way, much like Charming had done. After the giant starts to chase the two sisters, Sabrina accidentally kills the giant with the sword after she thrust it up to protect herself and Daphne for the giant's grasp.
