Cinderella "Cindy" Baxter is an Everafter recorded in the fairy tale Cinderella. Cindy makes a living in Ferryport Landing by hosting a radio show called The Dr. Cindy Show. In the fairy tale of her name, she married Prince Charming, but in the books she reveals that she divorced him and married Tom Baxter, who is human. Because of this, Cindy can stay a young Everafter forever while her husband must age, which leads to the main plot of "Magic and Other Misdemeanors". However, she eventually loses her youth and turns old so she can be with Tom.
History[]
In her youth, Cinderella was abused by her step-mother and step-sisters and dreamed for a better life. In the Grimm fairytale version, Cinderella receives aid from a magic tree that grows on her mother's grave. The Grimm version differs from other versions of Cinderella because the prince is tricked by the stepsisters twice, which makes him seem less heroic and puts more spotlight on Cindy.
Abilities[]
Because of the abuse from her childhood, Cinderella became a great advice-giver to people with their own family problems, which is what she does on her radio show The Dr. Cindy Show. She also has three assistant mice to aid her.
Appearance[]
Cinderella is described as a "rare beauty", having blond hair, a button nose, freckles on her cheekbones, and a big bright smile. After she chooses to age, she becomes an old woman with frail hands and her hair turns grey, however she still remains a beauty, as described by Sabrina.
